About Cindy
A 1976 graduate of Nazareth College in Kalamazoo with a BA in Art Education, Cindy has continued her studies at Kendall School of Design with a major in Illustration, Kalamazoo Valley Community College and the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts.
She does a great deal for the local art community, hosting an annual holiday art show promoting local artists and conducting children's workshops in ceramics.
Cindy draws inspiration from nature – something very close to her. She and her husband carry on a family business started in 1906 – Prudential Nursery.
Working primarilyin Stoneware fired in Oxidation and Raku ware, Cindy's functional and decorative work is on display and available for purchase at Prudential Nursery on Sprinkle Rd. in Vicksurg.
